New patients booking their first appointment must reserve their appointment time with a $75 deposit. Your credit card will be charged $75 at the time of booking your appointment. On the day of your first appointment the $75 will be applied as a credit to your first visit fee. On the day of your visit, you may pay the balance with Zelle®, cash, debit or credit card. We do not accept checks. We will keep your credit card number on file for future visits. Paying with Zelle® or cash can make a big difference to our small business. We appreciate your support in helping us keep our costs down.
There is a fee for the initial visit and there is a fee for each subsequent visit ranging from 15 minutes to an hour. Just like with other professional services (i.e., lawyer, MD, psychologist, etc.) a consultation with the doctor in person or via video requires payment of the corresponding visit type fee at the time services are rendered and the fees are listed here.
Fees for any laboratory and diagnostic tests the doctor orders are separate from the visit fee. This includes the lab’s charges for conducting the tests and the doctor’s fee for interpreting the results. The doctor charges for his time separately, and no follow-up visit fees are included in the initial consultation or any lab fees.
If you need to cancel your appointment you must notify California Naturopathic Clinic, more than 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment time and if you fail to do so, you forfeit your $75 deposit if it is for a New Patient Visit or your credit card on file will be charged $75 if it is for a Return Patient Visit.
We do not bill health insurance directly. However, you may be able to get reimbursed for our services.
Check with your insurance provider to see if your plan covers naturopathic doctor services. We are happy to provide you with the necessary documentation for your claim, though a fee may apply.

For patients with PPO insurance, most labs and imaging we order are typically covered at your in-network lab.
For your convenience, our office stocks many of the supplements the doctor recommends. If you need a refill, please contact us at least one week before you run out.
While some of these supplements can be found online or at local health food stores, we strongly recommend that you only use the specific products and brands prescribed by the doctor on your personal treatment plan. Using alternative brands may not provide the same health benefits.
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not, we will accept returns of unopened and unused supplements within 30 days of the original purchase date.
Botanical tinctures, opened or used supplements & refrigerated supplements are not eligible for a refund due to the nature of the product and for safety reasons.
Prepaid lab orders are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase.
You are eligible for a full refund if your lab tests are not submitted to the lab within this 6 month period. Please note that refunds will not be issued after 6 months.
All prepaid IV and IM injection packages are non-refundable and must be used within 6 months of purchase.
