What to expect on a New Patient visit

  • No waiting most of the time. Please arrive on time.
  • Have your new patient paperwork electronically filled out and submitted prior to your appointment.
  • During that time with the doctor, he will conduct a medical history, he may perform a physical exam and order laboratory work or imaging.

First Follow-Up Visit

  • Usually scheduled 1-2 weeks after initial appointment.
  • Typically 15-30 minute visit.
  • The doctor will explain any test results and your treatment plan.

Subsequent Follow-Up Visits

  • Typically 15-30 minutes.
  • The doctor will review your progress, answer questions and make adjustments to your treatment plan if necessary.

Appointments & Payment Policy

To schedule your appointment call (951) 202-2340 during regular business hours or schedule online at your convenience.

New patients booking their first appointment must reserve their appointment time with a $75 deposit. Your credit card will be charged $75 at the time of booking your appointment. On the day of your first appointment the $75 will be applied as a credit to your first visit fee. On the day of your visit, you may pay the balance with Zelle®, cash, debit or credit card. We do not accept checks. We will keep your credit card number on file for future visits. We appreciate your support in helping us keep our costs down. Paying with Zelle® or cash can make a big difference to our small business.

There is a fee for the initial visit and there is a fee for each subsequent visit ranging from 15 minutes to an hour. Just like with other professional service (i.e., lawyer, MD, psychologist, etc.) a consultation with the doctor in person, via video or phone requires payment of the corresponding visit type fee at the time services are rendered and the fees are listed here.

The doctor may order laboratory and other diagnostic tests during your visit and the fees for these tests are separate from the visit fee, including laboratory fees, interpretation fees, administrative fees, and handling fees. In other words, NO FOLLOW-UP VISIT FEES ARE INCLUDED IN ANY LAB OR INITIAL CONSULTATION FEE.

Cancellations

If you decide to cancel your appointment you must notify California Naturopathic Clinic, more than 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment time and if you fail to do so, you forfeit your $75 deposit if it is for a New Patient Visit or your credit card on file will be charged $75 if it is for a Return Patient Visit.

Insurance Policy

We do not bill health insurance but you may be able to get some things covered by your health insurance on your own. Ask your health insurance provider if you can be reimbursed for Naturopathic Doctor services. We’ll try to provide you with whatever documents your insurance company requests (fees may apply).

Many of our patients save money by one or more of the following ways:

  • For patients with PPO insurance most labs and imaging ordered by us are covered at your in-network lab.
  • Use your Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) card to pay for our services.

Vitamins and Supplements

For your convenience, we stock some of the products that the doctor usually recommends. If you need a refill on any of your prescribed supplements please contact us at least one week before you run out of the product. Many of the products recommended by the doctor can be purchased online at various website merchants or at local health food stores. For optimal health benefits, please only use those products and brands specifically prescribed to you by the doctor written on your personal treatment plan.
